Very nice work, this definately brings new life to this pit and most of all, gets rid of the somewhat cartoony default textures.

Hi Cromhunt, Just had a quick question about the gunsight. I noticed that your version has two little lights labelled 'caged' and 'uncaged'. From my readings, the A-4 gunsight had a slider in that position to switch the reticle caging. This was modelled in Freddy's textures. I was wondering if you had an image depicting your version of the gunsight? Reason I ask, I've been heading a large project at SAS called "1956". As part of it I've been editing and updating the F-86 pits. One thing I was going to do was add lights to the gunsight that appeared based on the gunsight mode. Before I continue I just wanted to confirm if your version of the sight was correct. If you're interested in the project, there is a preview here: www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,12060.0.html Kind regards, Anto

Merci "danbigel" cependant je suis toujours en train de les modifier pour obtenir un skin proche du reel. Comme les reflets dependent du mesh utilisé le deuxième tank est moins brillant. peut-etre que je vais y arriver?? à bientôt:)

These are great. I was hunting skins for the D.K, and found NONE other than these, and they are great. I also grabbed all the F model ones as well.
I noticed that this is all a bit aged, but I'm wondering if there is a chance a couple of the F model skins could be modifed to fit the FJ-3 Fury; the 6 .50 gun ports show up instead of the 4 20mm cannon, ohter than that they work onthe Fury.
I am wanting to use the Fury as an F-86H, though we don't have the H, the performance is pretty much the same, as well as the armament.
I also can't use the instrument panels (not the cockpits) in the F-86/Fury/F9F ccokpits in DBW; they gag my FR, are just too large texture wise apparently, and I have an advanced computer. What appear to be the same cockpits work fine in HSFX, but the folder system is different, and I can't transfer them. I wonder if your cockpits would be a bit easier to run? I hope somebody may see this someday.
Either way, if anyone reads this, they are all magnificent. Thankx for posting these.

www.mediafire.com/download/ecxb831dzusb563/0_Jet_Era_pits.rarFor fun mod I made for DBW using crom's tex and Freddy's original along with the cool Jet Era mod and one or two of my own modified tgas. Only for F-86F versions. Goes into #DBW. F-86F40/Fury version
F-86E/F earlier version Credit to Freddy aka 335th_F_Red(, HistoMod), cromhunt, SAS~Anto(, SAS). (A bit late for a reply, but since I have that...no claim for perfection here!) Do not fly much these days, but like the Sabres in Histo and DBW. ~S~ PS: Left in 1 or 2 with "-" marked backuped tgas in both F-86 folders as backup, e.g. for seat or needles versions.
