Hey Crom, That is a cutie of a plane. I join you in wanting one of these, looks like a fun plane. I use to fly the old J-3 and the Super-Cub a while back in my real flying days. I started flying at age 13 by working at a little uncontrolled airport/gliderport for flying time. I learned to fly in a nice sailplane, Schweizer 2-33,soloed on my 14 th birthday and then transitioned to power aircraft and soloed on my 16 th birthday in a litle Cessna 150. I actively flew into my 30's and now married at 52 with children who need my attention and less we forget,my money --ha !!--. Hope to get back up there,it is my passion as is surfing which I still do with my kids. take care--Robby--

Crom, you have a very well rounded career in aviation being checked out in both fixed-wing and rotor craft. I never got to fly helicopters,I really would like to have tried,I have several friends that flew both and preferred rotor-craft over fixed wing,I could see that,a little more dimension to flight with heli's. I feel I was born in the wrong time as far as aviation is concerned Crom, I wasn't really impressed with faster newer and more sophisticated aircraft,I liked the old fabric, taildraggers and nothing beats a radial--Ha!!!--- Anyway that's life, thanks for the reply concerning your flying career, definitely something to be proud of there. Maybe someday we'll get that cub my friend, take care--Robby--

You are right about the new faster and sophisticated aircrafts I do prefer the olds planes with their capricious motors which give you real sensation of life like animals. The most newer that i flew was the Piper cheyenne 2.With his two turbo prop 750 hp it gave a good sensation of power but above the flight level 100 it was imperative to put the autopilot on because it was impossible to maintain the line on manual.Flying with this kind of plane seems more balistics than aerodynamic Of course like you i came in life at the wrong time,it's the life. And flying a real warbird stills a dream. See you next

Very interesting guys. Nice machines you have flown Crom, specially the fixed wings, i love some of those planes. Im a pilot in real life too, but only flew ultralights, i love the adventure of it, its like the beginnings of aviation. These are the planes i used to fly: Rans S-12 "Airaile" "Falcon" Flyer GT (I learnt to fly on this type of bird) And here the planes i would love to have and fly: Yak-52 Yak-55 RV-8 from Vansaircraft Salute gentelmen!

Thank you for sharing I'm happy to see that a player knows what "flying" means The real flight is incomparable. And more of players would have to give it a try ;If this would happend more often maybe they will stop to say bullshits about ,hehe:) You are right it's the "flying spirit"shown on this video:)) see you next

Oups sorry i'm bad with my english:) Just would like to say that if the more sims players would give it a try to real flight the less they will say "bullshits"about flying. Behind the computer you cant feel it correctly, just shake some pixels on a screen. Unfortunatly the sims players seem to believe that their games looking good, and follow the wrong way to learn what flying is. see you next
