hello i have followed the birdbrain tutorial on how to create templates . When i got to the section where you must render the rivets layer transparent the link to the plug works but the plug in itself does not appear in the filter section drop down menu . I looked around on the websites , googles for methods to do so but not one worked for me . Can someone pls explain to me how to do so . I am using windows 7 prof 64 bit . link to tutorial : www.eaf51.org/Photoshop/Tutorial/Tutorial-Void_to_Template.htmregards dog1

i suppose you are talking about 3d rendering of rivets? best way is to make two layers and displace one to get 3d aspect. After you have to smooth or blur. maybe i misunderstood see you next

hello i want to make the rivets layer transparent so the colors and insignias appear from under as per tutorial link above images . i also need to make more layers transparent to create camo schemes. right now when building my template the layer has a white background which i must remove leaving only the rivets and lines etc.. i used the opacity slider in the blending options of the rivets layer and it does remove most of the white layer and rendering it transparent but not perfect . i tried using the 3 erasers trial and error to remove the rest but they dont work well. Then having done that and flatened to make a test i realized i don't have enough mb's in the template .i get 6.05 mb when usually they are over 23 mb before flatening to 3 mb then to 1 mb with bright to appear in il2 1946 game . in another thread here i ask you for help on this issue. Once this isue is resolved i can begin work on the spitfire vc tropical filter skin for the MTO operations using the default void skin in game which i will build up to include the camo layer as well , this default void has the exhaust manifold texture .
